Externally, glass-ceramic electrical surfaces are similar to induction ones. What is the difference?

The difference between glass ceramic electrical surfaces and induction surfaces lies in heating technology.

Induction hobs have coils that create a magnetic field. It occurs when you place a cookware with a ferromagnetic bottom and only heats it, transferring heat directly to the dish. As soon as you remove the dishes, the heat supply stops. The surfaces themselves do not heat up. May be slightly warm after only removing the dishes.

Glass-ceramic hobs work thanks to Hi-Light heating elements. The hotplates first heat up and then transfer the heat to the cookware.
